Why I do this work
Conventional marketing has had too many of us jumping through hoops for too long.
And now, with the rise of AI, solopreneurs like us are feeling even more overwhelmed … more tools & tactics to “keep up” with … the uncertainty of whether we’ll still be “relevant” in the looming Machine Age. It can be overwhelming.

Who I work with
I work with highly intelligent, multi-passionate solopreneurs whose work requires deep focus, emotional presence, or creative energy — and who can’t sustainably operate at “full output” all the time.
Many identify as gifted, ADHD, high-IQ, introverts, ambiverts, and highly sensitive people (HSPs).
They are doctors, therapists, creatives, coaches, educators, and other transformational experts — gifted practitioners who are extraordinary at their craft.
They often describe themselves as “under-the-radar” — down-to-earth experts with high-end businesses. They’re not looking to scale to eight figures; they just want to do good work, and make a good living.
Many are Christians … all are people of principle.
What they have in common is a desire for a more elegant method to manage & market their business.
My work helps them to break the chains of social media and begin getting discovered by exquisite-fit clients — so they can create a leaner, more lucrative business that supports depth of craft and capacity for rest & enjoyment of life.

Stand-up comedy!
No kidding — this introvert / ambivert did stand-up … while waiting tables … and telling jokes in a Maine accent (it’s a real thing).

Exploring the rocky coasts, enchanting woods, and pristine lakes of my native state of Maine … or perhaps hiking the cactus-lined trails and sun-drenched desert of my adopted (and beloved) Arizona.

Lakewood Theatre, America’s oldest continuously running summer theater. I’m a hobby deltiologist (old postcard collector), and I used more than 100 of my own early 1900s postcards of Lakewood in the book.

Old magazine ads! I used to spend hours poring over 1940s Life magazines … and my beloved 8th grade history teacher thought I was studying WWII.
In reality, I was mesmerized by the long-form ads — sorry, Mr. Penley! — which obviously shaped my future destiny as a conversion copywriter & messaging strategist / content coach.
