✔️ Tell the ‘what’ and the ‘why’ — but NOT the ‘how’ (be vague about your process)

✔️ Persuade (I.E.: trick) your potential clients using “buyer psychology”

✔️ Make your offer more attractive with umpteen “bonuses” — but hide the price until the discovery call (a.k.a. sales call)

✔️ Handle objections on sales calls with “fast action bonuses” and other high-pressure tactics

✔️ And eleventy million other “persuasion” techniques that you’re taught in every marketing class

And all ^^that^^ is why marketing can feel AWKWARD and / or HARD:

HARD, because some of the tactics you’re told you “MUST” do … may be out of alignment with your natural rhythms, energy, talents, gifts & the way you want to market your business. (And ironically, many aren’t even necessary to win premium clients.)

AWKWARD, because, even if you love some of the ‘tactics’ (webinars, funnels, whatever) … the messaging behind it is off — because you’ve been taught the traditional marketing trickery, which feels out of alignment with your integrity.

And I get it … because in my decade+ of marketing, I’ve considered many of the “MUSTs”, too.

Webinars, funnels, complicated launches, posting in FB groups … you name it. And those tactics that weren’t a good match for me — yeah, they felt awkward and hard. (A “strange bird”, indeed.)

They were either out of alignment with my energy (making them hard to be consistent with) … or they were out of alignment with my integrity (making them a no-go from the start).

What really changed everything for me was listening to my own intuition — and doing what came naturally to me:

Clearly laying out my offers in exquisite detail — and then giving my potential clients the respect and time to process that detail and come to a buying decision on their own.

Simple, natural, respectful, RELAXED marketing.

So often, I see experts “jumping ahead” to advanced or complex marketing strategies (webinars, funnels, podcasting, affiliate) … 

Before they’ve solidified the BASICS (messaging, offer, organic content, lead magnet, email list).

They’re hoping for the “two in the bush” — instead of capitalizing on the one bird already in their hand. (And it rarely works.)

When we work together … we start with the “bird in the hand” — that is, we look at how we can quickly and easily capture the low-hanging fruit using simple methods to optimize the marketing you’re already doing.

Then … we “architect” your business growth starting with the foundation (the basics!), and working upward from there.
